A while ago, the Design Team at
Chocolate Baroque were asked to complete an unusual challenge. Glenda asked us to make some paper shoes, which was a little bit out of our normal comfort zone. However, we gave it some thought, and had a go. We are starting to post our exploits over on the blog now, mine are first, and if you care to take a look, I have explained how I made my paper creations over there.
A pink and black Brocade creation with matching tag:
A pale blue and lace creation with glazed Butterfly:
A French style creation, remeniscent of Marie Antoinette:
There is also a free downloadable shoe template available at www.chocolatebaroque.com in the printables section of the website if you fancy having a go at making a paper shoe yourself. Keep popping back to the Design Team blog, as there are more beautiful creations on their way. Thanks for popping by, Judith xx
Ahh! I've managed to get into your comments Judith, but still can't access my own.
ReplyDeleteWeren't these fun to make and after I was so unenthusiastic to start with, lol! I could have made more if time had permitted.
You definitely achieved your goal when you made yours. They are very elegant and I love the Marie Antoinette one.

What Beauties these are Judith, I would have run a mile if anyone had suggested that I make shoes, but they are so effective. The Guild Newsletter arrived this morning and I have enjoyed looking at the others. I am going to download the template and have a go myself.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteWow! These are amazing, Judith! I particularly like the blue ones with the butterflies. Could do with some of those to wear for a wedding next week
ReplyDeleteI'm shoe mad and your's are so fantastic... shame I couldn't go out in the rain in them or I'd order a size 5 in each style!
