I really like the way you have used Pan pastels for the background on the second card. It's another reminder of an unused medium I should really make use of more often for those more speedy, but very effective backgrounds. The second 'crystal' panel reminds me of one of those pieces of liquid plastic moulded jewellery that was so popular in the 1970s & I like the way the images in the background echo the focal image yet so subtly because of your use of the pan pastel medium resulting in a matt & soft texture against the brilliant shine of the focal panel.
