Steampunk Cockerel
Hi Folks, I have another sample using the Steampunk Birds
rubber stamp set to show you today. I love this cockerel image, and wanted to
give it a French Country feel, as soon as I saw it. I have coloured the
image with Inktense pencils, and inked around the edge of the card with
Scattered Straw Distress Ink. I have used dark green card to mat my layers, and added
some gingham ribbon and a couple of cogs, in keeping with the steampunk
theme. The sentiment is from the Loving Sentiments stamp set.

Such a beautiful card , love the image and the colours too xxx
He's a lovely handsome chap & I love the rustic feel you added to this card with your gingham ribbon & the inking of the edges. The brown/red/green combination works beautifully & the power of association makes my brain look from those cogs to the little cog details on the cockerel.

PS - I bet your chickens would have approved.
Love the rustic french style - that cockerel is super. Great card!

This is a lovely card Judith. I love the vintage feel and the colours are super. I love the touches of gingham to give that really rustic feel and the shading adds that touch of age too. A great composition. Elaine xxx
