Glenda over at Chocolate Baroque has just released some great new stamps this week. I showed you a sample earlier in the week using the 'Echoes of Italy' stamp plate, and today, I thought that I'd show you one using the 'Woodland Dreams' stamp plate.
I have already posted this sample on the Chocolate Baroque Design Team Blog:
I used a selection of burgundy, brown and dark green inks, all embossed with clear embossing for my stamping.
For my sample today, I wanted to use a different colour palette, but the same stamps, to show the versatility of these stamps. I used a clear embossing powder on the Kraft card to act as a resist, and then covered the card with various Distress Inks. I embossed the tree and sentiment with copper embossing powder. I made some leaves from Clearly for Art, and coloured them with alcohol inks, adding some copper jump rings. I distressed the edges of my layers, and coloured them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
So there you have it, two different looks, but the same stamps. Thanks for stopping by today, xx

Love the contrast between those two cards Judith, those earthy tones on the second work so well and I love copper detail on cards. Great showcasing of these stamps. Elaine xxx
They are both gorgeous Judith, just goes to show how using different colours can give a completely different look with the same stamps.

love the colours you've used! Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. I'm a fellow Geordie, I live in South Shields! X
Two very beautiful cards Judith. How different they both look, you could almost put a spring stamp on the second one.

Hi Judith. It is interesting to read Sue's comment as she sees the second one as spring-like, which is what I said about the first one yesterday!
Anyway, I prefer the colours of the second one, but they are both lovely cards. Kate x

Thought I'd seen the top one before somewhere and I love the other one as well - so interesting to see different takes on the same design
