There are some great new stamps out at Chocolate Baroque called Pears and Baubles. I have made a few samples, and would like to show you a couple.
The first one incorporates some of the other stamps recently introduced and an old favourite of mine as well. I created a frame using the small mistletoe stamp, and cut inside this to make an aperture. I coloured the leaves, and decorated the berries with Diamond Stickles. I stamped the owl onto a piece of cream card, colouring the image with pencils again, and adding some Glossy Accents to his eyes, and the little bauble hanging from the tree. I stamped a sentiment and matted it onto green card.
My second sample uses one of the lovely pears on the stamp plate. I have stamped this onto Clearly for Art, and then stuck it onto some of the Prima Almanac paper. I have heated the pears, and moulded them slightly. I stuck some more paper onto a card base, and stamped the large swirl from the Butterfly Dreams stamp plate over the top. The design matches that of the pear really well. The pears once added to the card look as though they are hanging from the branches of the swirl. Finally, I added a sentiment, stamped onto more of the Prima paper. All of the paper has been coloured with Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed Distress ink.
I'll be back in a day or two with another sample. Thanks for stopping by, xx

lovely cards but I have to say, Im very drawn to the 2nd one.....visually fab!
Two great cards Judith. You have used the mistletoe stamps to great effect framing the owl. I love the pear card, it is gorgeous! I always love flourishes and script, but the addition of the dimensional pears is brilliant. I love it! Enjoy you travels! Elaine xxx
lovely cards. Especially like the one with the owl but as you know I cannot resist owls. Have to be honest and say wasn`t sure about the pear and bauble stamps when I first saw them but they are growing on me x Lavinia
Both of these cards are beautiful and you've certainly used lots of 'mix and match' stamps - love them both but especially like the pear one.
I love the classiness of the first & the sheer elegance of it. The detail around the aperture is delightful & the owl really stands out beautifully. I don't know why but I have recently developed a real passion for pear images - can't eat the things but the images just fascinate me & I love the way you hung these on the corner swirl. The Distress Inks add an astonishing effect too.

Both Beautiful cards Judith. I love how you've made the outline around the Owl with the mistletoe and the pears are so elegant. It's great how the flourish matches. I've already ordered the Pears & Bauble set, can't wait for it to arrive here ! Have a great week, Shirleyx
Love both of your cards Judith ,particularly like the owl peeping through the mistletoe, and like the subtle colouring on the pears and the way they hang from the scroll.

Two great cards Judith, I like what you've done with the pears. When I first looked at the stamp sheet I was not sure if I would use the pears, or not. Seeing what you've done with them, I think I'm changing my mind.

These are both fab my friend but the pear one is gorgeous. It uses two of my favourite things, script background and that gorgeous flourish (which I used for a quick card this week too). Those pear stamps are lovely and I'm seriously tempted although I was determined not to buy any Christmas stamps this year, lol!
