Here in the UK, Mother's Day has been and gone, but Internationally it has yet to be celebrated. The challenge over at Crafting with Dragonflies is to create a card for Mother's Day or a Special Lady.
I have chosen to use an image from one of our new sponsors this year, Heather Ellis. I thought that this image was so appropriate, as I get to have a day off on Mother's Day, a chance to relax. I have paper pieced the sofa and footstool, tying it in with the paper in the back circle. The paper has cute little hearts on it, which match the little hair accessory in the female character's hair. I have used some oddments from my stash to complete the card, some stickers, and some lovely fabric flowers. The sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque
Our generous sponsors this week are Heather Ellis, who is offering a prize of three digis from her website or Etsy shop:
and Meljens, who are offering a prize of four digis to the Winner:
Please hop over to the challenge blog to see what my team mates have made for your inspiration, and have a go at entering the challenge. Thanks for stopping by, xx

Judith, this is lovely - so simple and elegant and well put together! I do hope your foot is feeling better - if not, put it up and demand attention!! Have a quiet, pleasant Easter and don't eat too much chocolate - depending on your definition of too much!
Simply stunning Judith. Love the paper piecing - really makes your card pop. The young one sitting on the sofa looks so relaxed - no doubt reading a craft magazine. Fabulous digi image. Your flowers and butterfly are so pretty.
A beautiful card, love the paper piecing and colour, blessings Hilde
A sweet card Judith. The flowers caught my eye they look very soft and tactile. Hope the foot is not so sore now. Have a lovely Easter with your family. Hugs Wynn xx
