Okay, I don't post for ages, then I post twice in one day! Here is the other card that I promised you that I couldn't post earlier. I've used an Artylicious background paper and Bazzil cardstock in a lovely grey. I used a Tim Holtz swirl which I placed underneath a fabric flower that I made from an old chiffon scarf in shades of beige and grey, in the centre of which I sewed a coin pearl. I tucked a Tim Holtz ticket underneath, after shading the edge with weathered wood DI. In the centre of my card, I placed an oval of watercolour paper, coloured with DIs and stamped with Elusive Images stamps in shades of greys and browns, over which I have placed a gorgeous butterfly cut from Glimmer Misted paper. The Butterfly is a Tim Holtz Die. I have made it look like it is flying towards the flower. I also made a boxelope to match.

Gorgeous card Judith, lovely soft colours and I bet Lesley was thrilled with it - I know she likes butterflies! That flower is just lovely - i really must have a go at setting fire to some scarves!! I also used a wish ticket on my card, so she'll have plenty of brithday wishes.

And I am the lucky recipient of this beautiful card! I can assure you all, the photo is good but not as good as the card itself.
The colours are just so elegant and the composition of the card is perfectly balanced. The boxelope is just the same, stunningly elegant and I will treasure them. Thank you so much Judith.
Hugs

This is lovely and I like the way you have used the butterfly die cuts to make it a sideways view - beautiful chiffon flower too.
Your flowers are to die for, Judith. Lesley was describing this card to me today and it looks just as good as it sounded! Definitely in your signature style and you've used that butterfly in a very innovative way. Bet it really looked the business with the matching boxelope.
Beautiful, really love the flower,xx
