Fallen Angel

Hi Folks, this is my second post of the day, please scroll down for my Chocolate Baroque project. It's time for another challenge on the Altered Elusions blog. This fortnight, the theme is 'Anything Goes'. I have chosen to make a canvas scrapbook page using hand marbled paper, and old book pages. I painted the book pages and my canvas page with a light wash of Fresco Finish paint to tone in with the marbled paper.

I painted a chipboard tree with more Fresco Finish paint, added some Distress Ink, and then stamped it with a woodgrain stamp from Tim Holtz. This gives a great bark finish to the tree. I coloured my image from Delicious Doodles with Copics. I stamped some butterflies using a free stamp that came with this month's Craft Stamper magazine. I coloured the butterflies with Copics before I shrunk them.

It would be great if you could hop over to the blog and take a look at what the other DT members have made. Why not join in the challenge and make something yourself?

This fortnight the challenge is being sponsored by :

Sassy Studio Designs
They are offering 4 Digis of the Winners' choice

Robyn's Fetish
Susan is offering 5 Digis of the Winners' choice

Delicious Doodles
Teri is offering 4 Digis of the Winners' Choice

 Thanks for stopping by, xx

A great altered project and you've certainly made good use of the free butterfly - what a lot to shrink!! So different from your previous post too.

The little butterflies are gorgeously atmospheric with the fallen angel image - she's absolutely intriguing & I love your colouring of the stones she's sitting on. The tree bark is quite something & the whole very striking.

Love this, looks like even the angel is fed up with the rain (that's not a criticism against your work).
