I have made an easel card, and used Crafty Individuals backing paper in soft pastel shades for the background. I used the paper as my inspiration when colouring the image. There are so many colours in the paper, I couldn't go wrong! The sentiment is from Chocolate Baroque.
I added some glittery ribbon and some flat-backed gems for a bit of sparkle to finish.
I don't normally do cute cards, but this will make a great storecupboard card for when I need a card in a hurry. I think the image would put a smile on anyone's face.

the way you picked out the checked patterning on the quilt with the Harlequin patterned background paper & then tied it all together with your pencil colouring is very effective.
