I took this photograph the other day, and just wanted to share it with you. My chickens hate the snow, they don't like the feel of it under their feet, or under their wings. They grumble and complain. It was sunny a couple of days ago, and they wanted to sit out after days of being stuck in their coop because the snow had been too deep for them to get about. I don't often see them lined up like this, so I had my camera at the ready, and took a quick picture.
Minutes later, my OH came stomping up the path, they all scrambled off the fence, and were gone again.
Sue has sent me another lovely card this week for her Forgotten Friday submission. She writes, "the stamp I used is a neglected CI
stamp which I stamped on card previously coloured with distress stains and
inked the edge with DI black Soot and mounted in co-ordinating card the
sentiment I coloured with DI and the leaves are crealies and the flower was in
my stash."
This is a lovely card, I really like that blue and yellow combination. I'm a real softie for bird images too.

Ah those hens look so cute all lined up in the sunshine - thanks for sharing this and also the lovely card from Sue for FF.
Tee Hee! you already know I love that pic of your chooks! They do look so cute! Naughty OH for disturbing them.
Sue's card is absolutely beautiful. Not a colour combo I would have thought of but must now remember as it looks lovely. Sue's cards are so gorgeous she really needs a blog doesn't she ;-) Thanks for sharing this one with us on her behalf.

Awesome chicken photo and a lovely bird card!
Oh just love those chooks reminds me of my life on the farm. Thank you for sharing my card Judith and for the comments.
Love those chickens Judith, I'm sure they were having a lovely time in the sunshine. I'm glad to say the snow here has long gone (hope we don't get any more).
I love Sue's card, it reminds me of my son's bedroom when he was small (many years ago) which was decorated in these colours, the bird is gorgeous.

Although the titmouse isn't the blue variety I love the way the blue & yellow colours suggest it to the brain.
Your hens look gorgeous sitting like that & I had to chuckle at their not likeing the snow.
