A little bit Vintage

Hi folks, another IndigoBlu sample today, featuring Flitterglu and gilding flakes. However, today's sample is a little bit more subtle than my previous one!

This sample uses the stamp plate 'Sarah's Choice', which is a mixture of words and definitions. I have chosen a soft colour palette of Kraft and cream, to which I have added the red gold gilding flakes. I stamped the script with Flitterglu, and added the gilding flakes down one side of my background. I added the same script effect to my handmade flower, which I made from brown parcel paper. I chose a vintage postcard as my focal point for the card, the colours were just right for this project.

I stamped some seam binding, made a vintage label, using one of the definitions, and added some pearl embellishments. The white burlap detail is another stamp from the stamp plate, it is a great stamp.

Keep checking back, as I'll be posting another sample in a couple of days, thanks for stopping by, xx

Another beautiful 'flitter' creation and I just love the subtle vintage look of the whole design - adding the gilding to the flower was a brilliant idea too.

I tried to leave a comment about 45 minutes ago but Mr Blogger is playing up again. I'll give it another try now.

I think this was my favourite out of this particular batch of samples Judith, mainly because it's one of my favourite colour combos but also because I love anything with script on. I have this set of stamps and it's lovely. Definitions are also a weakness of mine, amongst many others, lol! You have used these stamps to perfection and the vintage postcard is the perfect focal point.

I love this card Judith it's gorgeous. So far I've not bought the flitter glue and flakes but they are going to the top of my wish list, I love the effect that they give.

I love the white pearls with this & the burlap is just a gorgeous touch behind the old paper & with the leaves on top. This is a super set of stamps with the script, burlap & the definition (love your inked edges of the definition). Am becoming fascinated by the FlitterGlu - in search of that I stumbled across the old EI Illuminated Alphabet & had just enough funds for that & the EI Sketchy Alphabet!!
